I am a dance artist, choreographer and educator based in London, UK. Working with people of all ages, abilities and identities, I use meticulous and playful exploration to reveal beauty. I am skilled at working with professional dancers, students, people of all ages and abilities, with individuals as well as large groups, in a wide range of settings. For over 20 years I have worked with organisations including the Royal Opera House, the Royal Ballet School, Central School of Ballet and Trinity Laban. Amongst others, my dance pieces have been seen at the Royal Opera House, London bus stops, Bulgarian orphanages and on the BBC.

"Bim for me is everything more than a choreography teacher. She has a unique way of developing each student's minds to explore the uncomfortable. The skills she teaches transfer over to more than the dance studio, but to parts of everyday life. She has taught me to take my place not only as a dancer but as a human in today's world."

"Malcomson takes an idiosyncratic, somewhat irreverent approach to classical dance that brings out the idiosyncrasies and irreverence of the entire cast… Malcomson proves her value as a catalyst in bringing diverse personalities together in a riotous whole."

"Having the pleasure to be welcomed as part of Bim's class for people living with MS has re-ignited my love for dance once again. Being such a good patient teacher Bim is always keen to learn and understand as best she can what it is like for us living with MS. She always finds a way to adapt her classes to make them work for us so we get the best out of our time together."
